I work from
our family home in Shropshire.
This fits well around
my commitment to home-educate our three sons
aged 10,12 and 15 years.
Before I had children
I worked in the IT sector as a design programmer first with the
Inland Revenue, and then with Scottish Power and Scottish
Equitable.
My interest in
building websites was sparked around four years ago when I
wanted to start a business allowing people to sell their houses
directly through the web.
Unable to afford to
have a website built for me, I blagged a professional webbuilder
package from a techie friend and built the site myself.
I quickly
discovered that being a 'freelance estate agent' was too
time consuming, but I had discovered my passion for building
beautiful, hard-working websites.
My other interests
include
writing, dowsing, and glass-painting.
